Katie Byard is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist and has worked within clinical psychology services for 16 years. She has 6 years specialised experience in child neuropsychology working as a specialist paediatric neuropsychologist at Guy's Hospital, London, and has extensive experience assessing and treating children with neurological conditions. Previously she has also held positions in paediatric psychology, child development and child mental health services and as a Research Psychologist at Imperial College, London.

Katie has developed a specialist interest in the effect of brain injury on the family and on family coping and adjustment. She has specialist expertise in this area, providing expert psychological support for children and families.

Katie lectures nationally on child neuropsychology and rehabilitation.
