Dr. Suzanna Hunt
Chartered Clinical Psychologist
Dr Suzanna Hunt is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist who has enjoyed working with children and families for over 10 years. She has worked at Great Ormond Street Hospital, Guys Hospital, The Royal London Hospital as well as for Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services and community Child Development Services in central London.
Suzanna works part time for the NHS where she offers assessment and treatment for children who have suffered from traumatic and acquired brain injury. She also offers specialist child neuropsychological consultation services for clinicians working in the London boroughs of Tower Hamlets, Hackney and Newham. Suzanna is a visiting lecturer to The Tavistock and Canterbury Christ Church University (Salomon's), lecturing to the doctoral programmes on Paediatric Neuropsychology and Child Development.
Suzanna appeared on the BBC London News for the launch of an online virtual community for children with chronic and terminal illnesses at Great Ormond Street.
Her doctorate investigated the cognitive and neuropsychological effects of recreational drugs and she has provided consultation to drug and and alcohol services since. Her research has been presented to the Home Office and the Frank drug awareness campaign.
Suzanna speaks Spanish and has worked in Peru for Kiya Survivors, a non-governmental organization, with children with learning disabilities.
