Dr. Tara Murphy
Chartered Clinical Psychologist
Dr Tara Murphy is a full practitioner Paediatric Neuropsychologist and Chartered Clinical Psychologist.
Tara has been employed at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Trust since 2003. Her clinical work has spanned Paediatric Psychology and Neuropsychology Services. Tara works with children who experience a broad range of learning, emotional and behavioural challenges associated with neurological injury or illness. She enjoys working with families and schools. Tara has published research in Tourette syndrome, Neurovascular Disorders and Eating Disorders.
Tara completed her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the Institute of Psychiatry in South London. The focus of her doctoral research was in pain, coping and quality of life in children with sickle cell disease.
