Dr. Alice Martell
Chartered Clinical Psychologist
Dr Alice Martell is a chartered Clinical Psychologist with nine years experience of working as a psychologist within the NHS, with a focus on providing psychology services within a paediatric context.
Alice has experience of neuropsychological assessment, interpretation and intervention in a variety of settings including Birmingham Children's Hospital, The Radcliffe Infirmary (Oxford), The Royal London Hospital and the Evelina Children's Hospital. She has a special interest in developing neuropsychological services for children, adolescents and young people with Sickle Cell and supporting children in accessing the appropriate understanding and support from families and schools to ensure their needs are met.
Alice is currently developing and providing a service for adolescents and young people with Sickle Cell Anaemia and Cancer with a focus on supporting young people through the process of transition to adult services. She is also focusing on developing interventions aimed at supporting young people with chronic conditions through other important life transitions (e.g. starting college).
Alice is a member of the British Psychological Society and the Division of Clinical Psychology.
