Our Philosophy

Our philosophy stems from our expertise and experience, the latest research and our passion to achieve the best possible results for children with brain injury.

We believe that the best possible outcome is achieved within the family and at home. Children respond better to people they trust, in places where they feel safe. We believe that, with support, the family can offer their child the best environment for recovery.

We understand that the emotional impact on the family is significant as they adjust to their new role of care for their child. We provide psychological support for the family members as part of our rehabilitation service.

As Child Neuropsychologists, we have specialised knowledge and training in how brains develop and influence behaviour. We use this experience to understand the impact of the individual child's injury on their everyday life and to promote their ongoing development. Our holistic approach looks at diet, exercise and rest as well as the child's stage of development. We provide structured daily activities to take the burden of planning and organising off the child as they learn to adjust and continue to make progress and grow.
